Chris  has worked across many industries in his 25 year career (yep, he's that old). Starting in hospitality and shortly after, retail; he worked his way up to management in both fields. With a keen interest in how things work, he used contacts he had made from bar work to gain work experience in various aspects of the building and maintenance trades

Eventually, the opportunity arose for him to enter the 'tech' world where he trained in business and database analysis as well as software support and development. This led to him working around the globe but didn't satisfy his love of social interaction

In 2016, Chris campaigned to save a local pub from demolition and when successful, took it on and ran it as a Community Interest Company (CIC). After securing its future, he handed over the reigns and trained in accounting, going to work for an FX and finance software company at their request

With a broad range of contacts in many different fields and the cost of living crisis affecting domestic and commercial life, Chris was determined to find a way to help everyone. Although he's volunteered and worked with charities, CIC's and anyone in need before, in 2024, he decided to 'put pen to paper' and at least try to slow the impact of rising costs
